discussions about triathlon politics   June 27th, 2009 by Nikola

One of the better sides of sport are discussions about politics (is strategy part of politics, or vice versa?).

Read Will’s, Gavin’s and Fraser’s opinions on new age ITU racing.

I want you to pull

Here come my words of a priori superficial wisdom:

Live is hard, sport is harder, triathlon is hardest… It is by no means a challenge of physique but of everything else which makes us human… and humans are mostly political.

Anyway, audiences love politics and the more politics a certain sport has, the more interesting it is. Audiences love scandals, scams, bad vs good guys, poor vs rich, all the usual archetypes… Problem is that triathlon politics do not go out too much.

Triathletes are too nice?
