Ages ago I blogged but I edited HTML manually. Then, many years later, I tried some solutions but still not great. All the time I felt like it is important to blog - to write something all the time on my sites - because why else would people visit it…
Then I discovered Wordpress and I was WOW… This is so simple and it works…
My immediate reaction was that everybody needs to blog now because it seemed so much fun and so easy. (obviously I am a nerd!)
One of the results of my obsession is triathlon team.
Most triathletes were stuck with some strange solutions and I think they share my feeling of liberation thanks to Wordpress. Conrad had problems with his site, Fraser and Dan were not able to update their site properly and independently, Gavin was scammed by a commercial solution… There was dark and with Wordpress came light!
Now all “core websites” for team triathletes are based on Wordpress.
(Core websites are their main brand websites - we also produce other websites and use social media, and these are not necessarily based on Wordpress.)
Wordpress also is probably the most efficient tool ever in the history of marketing - never could one do so much with so little.
Non-profit initiatives like Wordpress make triathlon team possible.
